| This villa is a modern,
fully air-conditioned two-story home in the Country Club Estates
subdivision, north of the hotel area. This is the ideal beach house.
It has three bedrooms, and three and a half baths. The home site on
a large lot. There is a spacious yard and driveway for cars. An
archway into two wings, which are connected by an enclosed
second-story walkway, divides the house.
The property owners designed the
house. A Mexican architect drew the plans. Local Maya friends
managed the construction. The painted wood furniture in the sitting
area is the special creation of an interior designer. The aqua color
theme compliments the color of the many hues of the ocean.
The main wing is on the east, with a
living room with an ocean view, dining room, and kitchen on the
lower level. The living area features a cathedral ceiling. The
second story, a mezzanine over the kitchen area, holds the master
bedroom and private bathroom. The living room has sliding-glass door
on both the upper and lower level opening up the view of the
Turquoise Ocean and white sand beach.
The western wing has a spacious
bedroom and bathroom on each floor level. Each bedroom has its own
dressing area with sink and vanity. These bedrooms each have four
twin-size beds which can quickly be moved together to form two
